Hello everyone! I apologize for such a late video. Since it was so late, I decided to post without a video. The concept this week is cooking with creativity. When you were a kid did you enjoy decorating and playing with your food? Sure you did! Food turns kids imagination on and gives them the opportunity to be creative. When I was a toddler, I liked my parents to make shapes with my sandwiches like a heart or a star using a cookie cutter. Making shapes with my food also helped me eat healthier when I was little. For example, arranging healthy foods to look like an animal or a landscape. Here are some ideas.....
This beautiful rabbit is made from....
The head, body, ears, and feet are pancakes. You could use waffles for a different texture and roughness. On the bottom, they added whipped cream to resemble the fluffy tail. On the feet, they added a banana for a healthier option. Although, they also added three chocolate chips! Instead, you could add a strawberry and raisins. Every ingredient is optional and could be changed to something tastier.
For a more simple kind of food art, you could create a mini race car.
This was made simply with apple slices, grapes, and skewers. The wheels were attached by putting the skewer in the apple with the grapes already attached. For older kids, you could you could make multiple or however many you want to make. For safety, you could cut the pointy ends off the skewers.
I hope you are willing to try some of these snacks. They are easy and absolutely delicious. Once again, all ingredients are optional and can be changed. Allow kids to do these projects so they can get there creative juices flowing and have fun. Although, make everything safe and kid friendly. Thanks for tuning in and I hope you enjoy some delicious snacks!

Frozen Coffee Frappe
Hello, everyone. First things first, I want to thank you all for tuning in and giving me a successful 120 views. Last weeks video turned out very well. Although, I have to say this one is 20 times better. I do want to apologize for posting this late. I got a little caught up in school work and it took me a while to edit this video. I will have it attached to this blog post for you to watch. You can also access it from the Jewett School of the Arts Youtube channel. I put a lot of work and effort into this video so I hope you enjoy and learn something new!
As said in my videos, I will give you a detailed list of ingredients.
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups ice
3/4 cup extra-strong brewed coffee
1/2 cup milk
1 Tablespoon sugar
Whipped Cream (optional)
Chocolate Syrup (optional)
And blender
Directions
Step 1: Lay out your ingredients which are listed above. Make them easy to pick up and/or pour.
Step 2: First put ice in the blender. Then put in your milk and coffee. Next, put in your sugar. If you want to put in chocolate syrup you will need to put in now. Estimate and squirt for about 4 seconds.
Step 3: Put your blender on the correct settings and blend. Depending on what blender you have put your settings on frappe and push on.
Honestly when I blended I put to much in the blender and it made my fingers really sticky. So, try your hardest to make the right measurements and don't measure with cups like I did in the video. Therefore, happy beverage day and I hope you have an amazing weekend.

Ants on a Log
My first video turned out amazing! Ants on a Log will make a great and healthy after-school snack. I hope you guys enjoyed the recipe and used it to your advantage. By that, I mean you can start eating healthier. Down below I will give you a list of ingredients and a simplistic recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Peanut Butter (any kind)
Celery
Chocolate Chips or Raisins
RECIPE
1. Cut up your celery into smaller pieces.
2. Take a scoop of your peanut butter and spread it on one of the celery sticks.
3. Take your chocolate chips or raisins and drizzle them on.
When you are doing the last step you do not have to drizzle them on. Putting only a few on top is healthier and more beneficial.
If you happen to have an allergy to peanuts or raisins, another thing you could do is pour ranch onto some celery sticks and top it with carrot slices. I gave this to my cousin and he loved it so much. Throughout my cooking show, you will see recipes that you will want to eat everyday. Therefore, keep watching!
I hope that you enjoy eating some traditional Ants on a Log.
